Urgent Help
If you are in crisis or feel unsafe right now, you do not have to face it alone. Reach out and we will connect you with a professional immediately.
Initial Mental Health Support
In many communities, mental health is still not given the attention it deserves. People may feel overwhelmed, anxious, distressed, or emotionally exhausted without fully understanding what they are experiencing or knowing where to seek help.
That is why our support does not always begin with a counselling session. Anyone who wants to talk about what they are feeling or experiencing can call and speak directly with one of our trained psychosocial counsellors. The conversation focuses on the caller — their own feelings, thoughts, experiences, and immediate concerns.
What Our Counsellors Provide
- Active and compassionate listening
- Non-judgmental emotional support
- Validation of feelings and experiences
- Immediate psychosocial support during moments of distress
- Guidance on possible next steps, including counselling or other appropriate services when needed
If You Are in a Crisis
If someone is experiencing a crisis, including suicidal thoughts or an immediate risk of harm, our trained counsellors follow an established emergency and crisis-support protocol. The priority is to:
- Help the person become calmer
- Assess immediate safety concerns
- Reduce immediate risk as much as possible
- Connect them with emergency or further professional support when necessary
Feeling heard can be the first step toward feeling better
You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. You can simply call and talk.
